Rules & regulations
(I)  COIMBATORE OPHTHALMIC ASSOCIATION BEST POSTER AWARD

1. Only members of TNOA are permitted to participate in this competition.
2. Entrants should enroll as TNOA Life Member atleast 90 days prior to the conference.
3. Proof of Membership of TNOA should be sent along with the abstract of the poster.
4. A declaration that this poster has not been presented in any other conference earlier should be given by the participant.
5. The poster may be the work of either one or a group of persons.(Awards will be given to the first author).
6. The author of the poster should be present at the allotted time at his poster area for presentation and evaluation.

1. This will be a special session of papers accepted by the Scientific Committee for this competition.
2. Only members of TNOA are permitted to apply & participate in this competition.
3. The person who presents the paper should be below 40 years of age at the time of presentation of the paper.
4. Entrants should enroll as TNOA Life Member atleast 90 days prior to the conference.
5. Proof of Age and Membership of TNOA should be sent along with the submission of the paper.
6. A declaration that this paper has not been presented in any other conference earlier should be given by the participant.
7. The paper may be the work of either one or a group of persons. If it is that of a group, the first author should be below 40 years and he should be a life member of TNOA and the award will be given to the first author.
8. Last date for abstract submission 31st May 2007.

(III)  CAPTAIN SUBRAMANIAM BEST VIDEO AWARD

1. All videos submitted by TNOA members are eligible.
2. Entrants should enroll as TNOA Life Member at least 90 days prior to the conference.
3. Proof of Age and Membership of TNOA should be sent along with the abstract and Text of the Video Film entered for the competition.
4. A declaration that this film has not been shown or won an award earlier, anywhere should be enclosed.
5. The fully edited Video cassettes with sound and duration less that 10 minutes should be submitted to the Scientific Committee Chairman of the TNOA on the first day of the conference and will become the property of the TNOA.

(IV)    PROF.E.T.SELVAM QUIZ COMPETITION AWARD

1. Only postgraduate students of Ophthalmology from Institutions in Tamil Nadu are allowed to participate.
2. Each Team will consist of two members, representing each institution and atleast one of them must be a member of TNOA, enrolled 30 days before the conference.
3. Participant must register themselves before 15th June 2007 for the Quiz competition.
4. Apply through Head of the Institution on Official letter head to Chairman, Scientific Committee.
